athletecs

this term we have been doing athletics and we did an
athletics doc i chose long jump here's my work

Long jump is a athletic field  event in which the athletes run and jump as far as possible on to sand the rules are simple  jump as far as possible and land feet first and don't let your hands touch the sand or it will be measured by your hand make sure you get a good run up of about 14 foot steeps and I am going to tell you a few ways you can improve your long jump.

Long jump is a sport that most are either great at or are not so great at. so for beginners there are a few things you'll need to work on. here's a few important ones.
  • get a good run up around 14 passes
  • gather as much speed as possible
  • make sure you place your last foot behind but not in front of the line
  • then leap as high as possible because speed plus height equals distance
  • once you're in the air focus on landing
  • make sure you land feet first and don't let your hands touch the sand unless there in front of you
  • once measured try again to beat your previous length

There are different ways to determine the start of the approach run. One method is to stand with your back to the pit with the heel of your non-takeoff foot on the front edge of the board. Run forward the same number of strides you’ll use for the approach and mark the starting point. Make a few approaches from that starting spot, then adjust your starting point as needed to make sure your final step hits the takeoff on the board.
